COVID-19 Response Effective Immediately for Island County Planning and Community Development Department

March 19, 2020

**Effective Immediately for Island County Planning and Community Development Department**

The Island County Planning and Community Development (ICPCD) department is doing our part to minimize the risk of the transmission of COVID-19. At this time ICPCD would like to offer the public the ability to submit land use applications and building permit submittals by email, mail, or fax in order to decrease the public’s potential risk by having to come in to the ICPCD office.

After receiving the submitted documents, staff will review them for completeness.  If permits are deemed complete with all necessary paperwork we will contact you with a payment amount.  Then you can pay in one of the following ways: check, money order, or cashier’s check made out to ICPCD.  We will also accept credit cards over the phone but please note a 2.5% service fee of the amount will apply.

Upon receipt of payment for the submitted applications, building permits and/or supporting documents ICPCD will accept the materials as received by our department to begin processing.

Attached you will find the contact information to ICPCD staff that can assist you in the processing of your planning requests and submittals.

If you are unsure whom to contact, you can email one of the departments within planning below to be assisted.
