PUBLIC NOTIFICATION SEX OFFENDER
LEVEL 3 HIGH RISK TO THE COMMUNITY
The Island County
Sheriffs Office is releasing the following information pursuant to RCW 4.24.550
and the Washington
Supreme Court decision in State v. Ward. The offender has served the sentence imposed
by the Courts and is NOT WANTED by law enforcement at this time. Law Enforcement agencies do not have the
legal authority to direct where an offender lives.
According to
official documents juvenile (12 years old) LACROSS sexually assaulted a 6-year
old non-familial female and a 6-year old familial female over a period of
several months. LACROSS participated in the Sex Offender Treatment Program
during his incarceration. LACROSS has also been convicted of Failure to
Register as a Sex Offender in 2005 and 2010.
This risk
classification is based on his history and other assessments. LACROSS is required to register with the
Sheriff’s Office in the County of his residence for LIFE, or until relieved by
the Courts of the duty to do so. LACROSS
is not currently under Department of Corrections community supervision.
