City of Bellevue Light Rail Permitting Citizen Advisory Committee to discuss East Main and South Bellevue segment public feedback at Wednesday meeting

Wednesday, March 5 Light Rail Permitting CAC meeting:

The agenda and packet materials for the Wednesday, March 5 Light Rail Permitting CAC meeting (3:00-5:00 PM, City Hall room 1E-113) are now available http://www.bellevuewa.gov/light-rail-permitting-cac-meetings.htm

The Light Rail Permitting CAC will review public comments regarding the 60% designs for the East Main light rail segment (SE 4th St to Main St, including East Main Station), and further discuss the segment presentation given by Sound Transit at the February 19 meeting.

Additionally, the CAC will further discuss the South Bellevue Segment (I-90 to SE 4th St, including South Bellevue Station), which was presented at the February 5 CAC meeting.

Public Comment Opportunities

The CAC is seeking public input to help guide the feedback it gives to Sound Transit on the major project components in the Design and Mitigation Permit applications. Public comment is available at the start and end of each CAC meeting. About the Light Rail Permitting CAC

Last September, the Bellevue City Council appointed the 9-member Light Rail Permitting Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC), following the guidelines set forth in the Light Rail Overlay Code. The purpose of the CAC is to represent the citywide perspective in design and mitigation permit review of the East Link light rail facilities and tracks in Bellevue. The CAC is tasked with review of the major project components, which include design of stations, park and rides, landscape development, accessory structures, noise walls, tunnel portals and public art.
