Felted Holiday Ornaments Saturday, December 14, 10 – 1 pm Les Gove Park Multi-Purpose Building Instructor: Jennevieve Schlemmer
Come learn needle felting and create a festive ornament for the holidays! Needle felting is a popular fiber art in which wool fleece is sculpted using a special barbed needle. Three-dimensional felted creations are not difficult to achieve and the possibilities are endless. Participants can expect to create with two felted ornaments as part of the workshop. City of Auburn Galleries Call to Artists
The City of Auburn is seeking artists and/or artist groups working in two-dimensional media to exhibit their work at two City of Auburn gallery spaces during 2014. Artists and/or artists groups of diverse mediums are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to: paint, ink, pencil, mixed media, textiles, mosaic, glass, recycled materials, photography, calligraphy, collage, fiber art, etc. Deadline for application is Monday, October 21, 2013.
