AUBURN, Wash. - January 29, 2013 - M Street SE from Auburn Way S to 12th Street SE
The Well 1 Transmission Main Project will require a daytime closure of M Street SE, from Auburn Way South to 12th Street SE between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on weekdays from Monday, February 4th through Tuesday, February 12th. The current M Street SE closure between 6th Street SE to 4th Street SE, will remain in effect.
This closure will allow for the construction of a new storm main on M Street SE from Auburn Way S to 8th Street SE, and a new water main on M Street SE, in the vicinity of Auburn Way South intersection.
The City has contracted with Scarsella Brothers Construction, Inc. to construct this project. We are dedicated to causing as little impact to you as possible; however, it is necessary to close this road to efficiently replace the existing storm main and install the new water main.
Access for residents and businesses within the project area will be maintained from 12th Street SE, but delays should be expected. All through traffic will be required to use the detour route.
