 Auburn Councilmember John Partridge to serve on National League of Cities committee

Washington, DC – Auburn Councilmember John Partridge has been appointed to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2013 Public Safety & Crime Prevention Steering Committee. The appointment was announced by NLC President Marie Lopez Rogers, Mayor, Avondale, Arizona.
"Our local officials are very involved with National League of Cities and we're proud of the job that Councilmember John Partridge has done on this committee," said Auburn Mayor Pete Lewis. "He will bring his expertise and experience to Washington D.C. and, in turn, return with valuable information he can share with us at home."
The chair of this year’s Public Safety & Crime Prevention Steering Committee is Pete Constant, Councilmember, San Jose CA. Serving as this year’s vice chairs are Grene McGee, Mayor, Ridgeland, MS and Scott Somers, Vice Mayor, Mesa, AZ.
