Look for VRFA staff donating time on evenings and weekends to collect toys and cash at the Auburn Fred Meyer, 801 Auburn Way North, South Auburn Albertsons, 4010 A St. SE, and Lakeland Hills Top Foods at 1406 Lake Tapps Parkway E.  Toy barrels will be staffed through Dec. 13.

Donations can also be dropped off at the following locations: Auburn Fire Station #31 at 1101 D St. NE, South Auburn Fire Station #32 at 1951 R St. SE., Lakeland Hills Fire Station 33 at 500 182nd Ave E, Lea Hill Fire Station 34 at 31290 124th Ave. SE, or Pacific Fire Station 38 at 133 3rd Ave. SE.

Families in need of assistance from the Toys for Kids program should register with the Auburn Food Bank, (253) 804-5696.  Toys will be distributed at Auburn High School on Dec. 15 to those that have pre-registered with the Auburn Food Bank. Toys will not be distributed at any of the VRFA fire stations.

Firefighters Union Local 1352 has conducted community toy drives since 1986. One hundred percent of the donations stay within the communities of Auburn, Algona and Pacific.  Contact Valley Regional Fire Authority at (253) 288-5800 for more information.
