City of Auburn sent this bulletin at 02/13/2019 06:47 AM PST
Below is the latest information for Wednesday, February 13:
- Be prepared for slippery roads during the early morning commute. Overnight temperatures could have caused some freezing in places. Please remember to remove snow from your car before driving as snow coming off your car can be dangerous to other drivers.
- As the snow melts we may see some urban flooding. If you have storm drains in your neighborhood, please keep them clear of snow and debris to prevent flooding.
- We continue to caution drivers to watch for ice, heavy slush and standing water in places.
- The heavy snow brings a higher threat of tree branches or trees falling, downed power lines, roof damage, and sliding snow off roofs.
- Street crews will continue working 24/7 to plow and sand priority routes and secondary routes.
- The Auburn School District and Dieringer School District have announced they will be running two hours late on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
