 Writing an Artist Statement with Artist Trust
Artist statements are hard to write, but they're an important tool for artists working in any discipline. In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of writing successful artist statements and create your own. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a solid statement to use for grant, residency, or fellowship applications, on your website, and/or in your portfolio.

NEW! Watercolor Journaling
Learn how to capture a moment with ink and watercolor wash for the purpose of having a easy way to create on the go! This fun class will begin with simple drawings of still lifes and landscapes and then adding color and learning different techniques to create texture. If the weather permits we will will also go outside. All supplies are provided, no experience necessary, and each student will get to take home a travel watercolor journal to continue filling with artistic memories!

NEW! Intro to Glass Fusing
In this fun introduction to Glass Fusing, students will learn the tips and tricks to create one-of-a-kind kiln fused glass artworks! Learn to use frit, glass enamels and pre-fired glass to create 3 different glass pieces: a hanging triangle, square magnet and small wall hanging piece.
Following the class, the artwork will be fired by the artist in a kiln and will be available to pick-up the following week.

Textile artist Gwen Lowery draws inspiration from the motion and colors of the aurora borealis. From this inspiration, Lowery has created a series of large 2- and 3-D pieces, including those that illustrate Aurora Corona, a dramatic eruption of color in the sky.”
