FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE; October 19, 2011

AUBURN, Wash. – October 19, 2011— The hard work and dedication of the City’s Contractor, RW Scott, and City Construction Staff have allowed West Valley Highway to re-open two days earlier than originally anticipated. West Valley Highway is now open between SR18 and West Main Street. Drivers should still use extreme caution and use alternate routes to avoid delays as construction is still underway. Construction activities will be intermittent until late January 2012 when work to replace the traffic signal and widen the intersection at West Main Street will resume.
