For families, Babytime and Toddlertime return! Want something a bit more musical? Come to Musical Storytime with Ms. Liz or Music and Movement with Miss Emma. Do you have an older child who wants to read instead of being read to? Sign up for them to read to Emma the therapy dog.
Children and families can come celebrate Paper Bag Princess Day in honor of Robert Munsch's classic picture book on March 2nd, and later that day, The Celtic Cats Irish Dance Team will performing in the auditorium.
The end of winter means it's time to start planning your 2024 garden. Come to our Seed Swap to exchange seeds with other gardeners. Can't make it to the Seed Swap, but still want seeds for your garden? Become a member of our Seed Library located on the second floor.
Our Artist in Residence program, My Vermont Eyes, continues throughout March with two open studios of poetry and stories by Dr. Jolivette and a writing workshop that will give participants the opportunity to use their voice to express what they see daily with their VERMONT EYES.
Join Lois Price, library staff member and musician, to explore the works of Women Composers of Old. This presentation will explore the plainchant of Hildegard von Bingen, early operatic endeavors of Francesca Caccini, keyboard works of Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre and other early female composers whose work has survived obscurity to reach our modern ears.
The Friends of the Library concert series continues with The Evans / Asbell Duo playing a jazz from the 40s and 50s on Saturday March 23rd.
The Energy Committee Book Discussion Series continues with a discussion of Ministry of the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson.
