Curbside Yard Waste Collection Resumes March 1
The Prince William County yard waste curbside collection program resumes on March 1 with a reminder that residents must place yard waste in biodegradable paper bags or containers labeled “Yard Waste.”
Free Tax Help Offered Through April
People who qualify for assistance in tax preparation can get help through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, or VITA, program, a tax service for individuals and families making less than $60,000 in 2022. Tax help, offered by the AARP Foundation Tax Aide, is also available at Bull Run and Chinn Park Libraries.

At its December 13, 2022, meeting, the Prince William County Board of County Supervisors approved a major update to the county’s Comprehensive Plan, which guides the future growth, redevelopment and preservation of the county through 2040.

The Prince William County Police Department is initiating a Community Satisfaction Survey within the coming weeks to solicit feedback on services. The survey period will last approximately 45 days, followed by an analysis period to examine the results. Residents may receive a call to complete this survey and are encouraged to participate.
