Free! Fairfax HS Theatre Arts Festival for Elementary and Middle School Students Elementary and middle school students and families are invited to join the Fairfax HS Theatre Program for a fun arts festival this Saturday.
Enjoy crafts, a balloon artist, food for sale, and live performances by the theatre programs from Fairfax HS, Fairfax Academy, Frost Middle School, and Robinson Secondary School. It will be a great afternoon full of creativity, music, and fun.
Join us from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Veteran’s Amphitheater in Fairfax City.

Virtual Elementary School Renovation Updates Daniels Run ES and Providence ES families are invited to join us next week for virtual updates on the elementary school renovation projects.
Join the superintendent and design teams to hear the latest project updates and ask questions. The Daniels Run ES meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. The Providence ES meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m. Meeting links will be posted on our website.

Commission for Women Seeks Student Representatives The City of Fairfax Commission for Women is seeking student representatives for the 2026–2027 school year.
Applicants must be Fairfax City residents, high school juniors or seniors, available to attend meetings on the third Tuesday of each month and interested in bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the commission.
The commission addresses issues affecting women and advises city officials on policy and legislation. Student representatives help provide a youth perspective on issues affecting the community. This is a great opportunity for leadership experience and college resume building.

FX Players Present Something Rotten! FX Players will present Something Rotten!, a hilarious musical comedy, at Fairfax High School.
Performances will be held April 30, May 1, May 2, May 7, and May 9 at 7 p.m. Matinee performances will be held on May 2 and May 9 at 1 p.m.

Join us for Community Connection Night at Providence Elementary School on Tuesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Families from Providence ES, Daniels Run ES, and Katherine Johnson MS can connect with local organizations and learn more about community resources, parenting resources, behavior supports, and mental health supports. Free food and school-aged childcare will be available.
