City of Fairfax School Board Approves Superintendent FY 2025 Budget
The $66 million budget will address capital improvements, supplemental instruction funds, and support for teachers. The school budget will be presented along with the city budget by the city manager to the mayor and city council on February 27.

Fairfax High School Auto Tech Teacher Named Champion in Automotive Education
Mr. John King was recognized at the Washington, D.C. Auto Tech show and received a Toyota Electric Vehicle two-year lease.

George Mason Womens Lacrosse Team Visits Providence ES Sixth Grade Team
Providence ES 6th graders had a great time meeting their new mentors, the George Mason University women's lacrosse team earlier this month. Team members will visit the students throughout the school year to help in classrooms, hang out at lunch, and even play a game of recess football. Thanks GMU Lacrosse for investing in your community!
