Principal Message
Dear Roadrunner Families,
We Did It! Attendance Matters!
Lorton Station Roadrunners, we did it! In October, Lorton Station averaged an impressive 94% attendance rate, with our second graders leading the way at an outstanding 97%! Way to go, Roadrunners!
Thank you, families, for making school attendance a priority. Consistent attendance plays an important role in your child's academic success and social-emotional well-being. Every day in school offers valuable opportunities to learn, build friendships, and develop important skills. Please continue to support your child's regular, on-time attendance. Together, we can keep our momentum going!
The End of Quarter 1 – Parent-Teacher Conferences
We have officially reached the end of the first quarter! This is an important opportunity to reflect on your child's academic progress, celebrate accomplishments, and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
By now, you should have received an email or other communication from your child's teacher about your child's progress and/or to schedule a parent-teacher conference. If you have not received communication or would like to schedule a conference to discuss your child's academic growth, don't hesitate to contact the school. We want to partner with you to ensure every Roadrunner has the support needed to succeed.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are proud of our Roadrunners and look forward to another great quarter of learning and growth!
Have a Great Day,
Dr. Legagneur, Ms. Champion, Mr. Barton
Lorton Station was excited to provide every kindergartener with a school shirt to reflect our pride in our newest roadrunners!!!
