Dear Island Creek Families,
It’s hard to believe we only have one more week in the first quarter of school! Our students are so engaged in their learning, and our teachers have been intentionally planning for Academic Discourse—giving students meaningful opportunities to share their thoughts and solidify their learning with classmates.
As a quick reminder, next Friday is Book Character Day and the official last day of the first quarter. Students will be dismissed early at 1:20 PM, and please note that after-school daycare will not be provided.
Thank you for your continued support, and have a wonderful week ahead!
Warmly,
Jen Fallert, Principal 🐊
Denise Cash-Pinckney, Assistant Principal 🐊

Dressing up is completely optional. If your child chooses to participate, please keep costumes safe and school-appropriate: no scary themes, offensive graphics, toy weapons, masks, or face paint.
Whether dressing up or coming as they are, please remind your child to bring their favorite book to share with their class!
