Hey Chargers crew! Hope everyone is easing back in after the long Labor Day weekend with a little extra rest, a little extra team spirit, and maybe one more iced coffee than usual. September is officially in motion, and CHS PTSA has plenty of ways to plug in this week.

Big Charger energy this week. We’ve got Tilly Thursday making its kickoff, student reps getting ready to lead, the membership drive competition heating up, and a few can’t-miss dates already on the calendar. Here’s the scroll-worthy version of what’s coming up and where to jump in.

September 10 | Tilly Thursday Kickoff: The first Tilly Thursday of the year drops Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:55 p.m. in the CHS front lobby. Stop by after school and help launch the tradition in style. What is Tilly Thursday? It’s an after-school snack pop-up where students can purchase treats that may include Crumbl, pizza, an assortment of drinks, and other snacks. We’ll be there from 2:55 to 4:00 p.m., and possibly longer depending on demand.

September 10 | Student Rep Meeting: Student reps meet right after the kickoff on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 3:05 p.m. in the CHS Library. This month, reps will help shape membership drive prizes and upcoming student-led plans.

Now Open | Student Rep Applications: Want to be a CHS PTSA Student Rep? We’re still taking applications, especially from the Class of 2030. It’s a low-key great way to build leadership skills, make your voice heard, and help shape the student experience. Apply here: STUDENT REP FORM Must be a CHS PTSA member to be a student rep.

Now Launching | Membership Drive Competition: The membership drive is officially becoming a competition. Students will battle it out by class, and staff will compete by departments or grouped departments. If we took a snapshot today, the leaderboard would be: Class of 2030 in first, Class of 2027 in second, with Classes of 2028 and 2029 tied.

October 1 | Next PTSA Meeting: Join us Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the CHS Library for the next PTSA meeting.
