A message from Principal Laxton
Dear Families,
As we enter the last full week of school, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout this school year. Your involvement has made a tremendous difference in the success of our students, and we are grateful for the strong home-school connection that helps our school community thrive.
This week will be filled with opportunities to celebrate learning, reflect on growth, and enjoy time together as a school family. We encourage students to finish the year strong by attending school each day, staying engaged in learning, and participating in our end-of-year activities.
Important Reminder
The last day of school is JUNE 17. Students will be dismissed two hours early on this day. Please make arrangements now to ensure your child has transportation and supervision plans in place for the early release.
As we wrap up another successful year, we are proud of all that our students have accomplished. Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership. We wish all of our families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer.
Thank you for being an important part of our school community!

Middle School After-School Program Parent Survey
The Middle School After-School Program office is conducting a survey of parents/ guardians to assess the quality and impact of the program. Below is a link for a quick survey about the Middle School After-School Program. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.
Participating in the survey is voluntary. Individual responses will be kept confidential, and responses will be summarized at the school and division level.
The survey is an important component of the after-school program evaluation and is critical for future funding. The more responses we receive, the more valuable and reliable the data
Thank you for considering completing the survey and for your support of the MS after-school program. This survey will be open from June 8, 2026 through June 12, 2026.
