Boundary Study Engagement
Fairfax County Public Schools sent this bulletin at 04/30/2026 03:09 PM EDTDear Navy Families,
I want to ensure that you’re fully informed about a boundary study currently being conducted in our region, which includes Navy’s boundaries. In all three scenarios being considered, some of our families may be impacted 2027-2028 school year.
While no decisions have been finalized, I want you to be aware of the potential possibilities. To stay involved, I encourage you to engage in the ongoing community meetings. In fact, there’s an engagement opportunity tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.
We would like to remind you about this week’s community meetings regarding the Skyview High School and Western Pyramids Boundary Study. At the meetings, they will share initial draft scenarios and gather your feedback. Join in person at Skyview High School or virtually via Zoom. To register, please click “in person” or “virtual” based on your preference:
- Tuesday, April 28, 6 to 8 p.m.(in person | virtual)
- Thursday, April 30, 6 to 8 p.m.(in person | virtual)
- The same information will be shared at both meetings. Community feedback from the meetings and the Skyview/Western Pyramids Boundary Explorer Tool (available soon) will help inform the development of one or more revised scenarios.
In May, revised scenarios will be presented during a second round of community meetings, which will also be held in person at Skyview and virtually via Zoom. To register, please click “in person” or “virtual” based on your preference:
- Thursday, May 28, 6 to 8 p.m. (in person| virtual)
- Saturday, May 30, 9 to 11 a.m. (in person| virtual)
The same information will be shared at both meetings. Please view the Skyview High School and Western Pyramids Boundary Study page for additional information.
Sincerely,
Fairfax County Public Schools
