Reminder - No School on Tuesday, April 21

Tuesday, April 21, there will be no school for students for the Virginia statewide election. Student activities, athletic practices, and events may proceed as scheduled.

Thursday, April 23, is our annual Electrical Construction and Engineering Ceremony.

Thursday, May 14, mark your calendars for the Edison Academy Awards! We will be celebrating our Academy students, recognizing their accomplishments, and honoring award winners. Please join us o in the auditorium at Edison High School starting at 6:00PM.

Fairfax Humane Society Supply Drive

Edison Academy FFA students are collecting donations for a supply drive with the Fairfax Humane Society. If you would like to donate, they are collecting pet toys, food/water bowls, unopened food, collars, leashes, brushes, unopened treats, towels, blankets, paper towels, and AA or AAA batteries. There are two donation boxes across from the Academy office outside of H101.

National Assistant Principals Week

Last week we recognized the valuable contributions of assistant principals to student success. Mrs. Monica Bentley is an incredible leader, who is always supporting students and staff. - Must be a resident of Alexandria and attend high school in Alexandria (Edison Academy) who has taken or is taking a Career and Technical Education course.
Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce Scholarship; Amount: $2,000; Deadline: April 27, 2026
Springfield Rotary Career and Technical Education Scholarship; Amount: To be determined; Deadline: May 1, 2026.
- Must be a student at Edison Academy or Edison who has taken or is taking a Career and Technical Education course.
