Dear Dolphin Families,
One of the greatest honors of my work is serving our military-connected community here at Fort Belvoir Primary. I am constantly inspired by the resilience of our students and the partnership we share with our families.
As we look toward the remainder of the year, I want to ensure I am leading our school with the care and excellence your children deserve. To do that, I would be so grateful for your honest perspective.
On Monday, April 6, you will receive an email from noreply@fcps.edu with a link to the FCPS Principal Evaluation Parent/Guardian Feedback Form. This anonymous questionnaire is a meaningful way for you to share your thoughts on our school’s leadership and environment, including:
-
Instructional Leadership
-
School Climate
-
Management (Human Resources and Organizational)
-
Communication and Community Relations
-
Culturally Responsive and Equitable Leadership
-
Professionalism
The survey will be open from April 6 – April 19. It only takes a few moments to complete, but the insight you provide helps me grow as your principal.
Thank you for being such an essential part of our community and for helping us make Fort Belvoir Primary the best it can be for our children.
With gratitude and care,
Eileen
Principal Delaney :)

Tuesday, April 21, is now a teacher workday and staff development day because of a recently announced special election that will impact all FCPS schools.
- Students will now have a traditional full day of instruction and be released at the regular dismissal time on Wednesday, April 29, which was previously an early release Wednesday for our school.
This adjustment allows our staff to still have dedicated time for planning, collaboration, and professional learning without reducing instructional time on other school days. Read Dr. Reid’s letter to elementary parents for more details.
Dear Fort Belvoir Primary Families,
My name is Jenn Lindsey, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new part-time Family Liaison at Fort Belvoir Primary School. As a military spouse, I understand the unique experiences many of our families share, and I am passionate about supporting and connecting with our school community.
In my role, I work to strengthen the partnership between families and the school by providing resources, sharing important information, and offering support whenever it is needed. My goal is to help every family feel welcomed, informed, and engaged so that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and staff as we work together to support the wonderful community here at Fort Belvoir Primary.
Please feel free to reach out anytime. I am here to help!
Warm regards,
Jenn Lindsey, Family Liaison
