⏰ Take the School Start Times Survey

A new School Start Times Survey is open and includes two options that are designed to support student well-being, align with research, balance transportation logistics, and minimize costs.

Staff, parents and caregivers, students, and community members may provide input on the two options by taking the survey. The survey deadline has been extended to Monday, October 6. Find more information on adjusting school start times on the FCPS website.

🐾 Woodlawn Pause with Ms. Hill

Hello Woodlawn Families!

Enjoy this week’s Woodlawn Pause called FLOWER BREATH.

This breath is helpful during moments we need to take a break and shift our energies to back to something simple, easy and free.  It is really good to do after you have been sitting for a while, or even if you need to wake up your energy a bit after a long test or doing work.  Giving our bodies that extra movement can release some stuck energy and set us up for the next step.

You access the video here.

🚨 The Wildcat Nest Thrift Shop is open!

Need free clothing for your family? We have you covered! The thrift shop, located at Woodlawn Elementary (8505 Highland Ln), is open on Fridays from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm by appointment only.
