Thank you for making our Fun Run such a huge success! Congratulations to our amazing PTA for leading such a wonderful event—our hearts are truly overflowing with gratitude for the incredible funds raised to support our students and school community.

Looking ahead, we invite you to join us for our next Parent Coffee on Tuesday, October 7th at 9:30 AM. The topic will be “A Nuanced Approach to Screentime.” Our very own Cooper Sved spent the summer researching this important issue and will share practical strategies to help families view screen use with a more balanced and thoughtful perspective. We hope you’ll be able to join us for learning and conversation.

AAP Overview and Screening/Identification Meeting

We invite all families to join us for our AAP Overview and Screening/Identification Meeting on Wednesday, October 15 in the Fairhill Library.

• 5:30 PM – Overview for families new to the Advanced Academic Program (AAP) process
• 6:15 PM – Screening and Identification session for families with students in grades 2–6

Thank You for Making Our Fairhill Week of Fitness and Fun Run 2025 a Huge Success!🎉

Our Fun Run 🐅🏃🏃‍♀️ was a huge success thanks to the incredible support of our students, families, staff, and sponsors. The energy, excitement, and school spirit were everywhere as our students ran, walked, and cheered each other on. 📣

We loved watching teachers, parents, and siblings run and dance with our students 🏃💃, reading the custom signs, and seeing all the smiles on everyone’s faces throughout the day. 

🏆Because of your generosity and our staff support, we not only reached our 60% school-wide participation and our $35,000 fundraising goals but greatly exceeded them! We had 69% school-wide participation and raised $39,391 for our new speaker system and improvements to our blacktop to encourage movement and active play for our students.

We’ll continue celebrating our accomplishments this week with:

• Scooter races with Mr. Cooper on October 1^st with the 9 classes that had 100% class participation 🛴

👏 A special thank you goes out to our parent volunteers, teachers, and staff who helped keep the event running smoothly and made it so much fun for our kids. We couldn’t have done it without you! 

We also want to sincerely thank our generous Fun Run sponsors for making it possible for us to provide t-shirts, for students and staff, popsicles for our runners, and for donating exciting raffle prizes! 

We are so proud of our students for their hard work and determination—what a fantastic celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and community spirit.🎉
