First PTSO Meeting
Tuesday, September 16th at 7PM
Save the date for our first PTSO meeting on Tuesday, September 16th at 7 PM! Please join us to hear from our Principal, Mr. Greata, and the PTSO about upcoming events, fundraising efforts, and other important Woodson information. Our first meeting will be in person in the Woodson Library. Meetings are typically 30 minutes, but our first meeting may run a little longer as we get settled into the new school year.

Senior Yard Signs
Senior yard signs are now for sale! Show your Senior pride by displaying a Class of 2026 Yard Sign! They are $25.00 each and can be purchased on the PTSO website. All proceeds support the Class of 2026 All Night Graduation Party. Questions? Contact ariannepm@gmail.com.
Student Driver Magnets and Partners for Safe Teen Driving Seminars
Attention all 10th grade students and their parents! All new drivers and parents must attend a state mandated traffic safety seminar, Partners for Safe Teen Driving. The PTSO will be selling Student Driver magnets at these events, and you can also purchase the magnets on the PTSO website. You can purchase one magnet for $8, or 3 magnets for $20.
The first seminar will be held on Wednesday, September 10th, and additional seminars will be offered on November 19th, February 11th and April 8th. Seminars will begin at 6:30 PM and will take place in the Woodson Auditorium.

Woodson Orchestra Car Wash
Saturday, September 20th, 10AM to 3PM
The Woodson Orchestra will be hosting its fall carwash fundraising event on September 20, 10:00am - 3:00pm at the Exxon located at 5239 Rolling Rd, Springfield VA. Mark it down in your calendars to bring your car down for a sparkling, clean wash and support the Woodson Orchestra!!
Woodson Math Center
The Woodson Math Center opens on Tuesday, September 2nd. Students can come by B208 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 - 3:45 pm to receive free peer math tutoring. Snacks will be provided!
Woodson Cavalier Spirit Wear
You may purchase Woodson spirit wear by visiting this online store. We won’t be selling spirit wear at CG Woodson events this year — but don’t worry! You can still stock up on all your favorite Cavalier gear online.
