Happy Thursday!

We had a wonderful week at CES! Students are well into their first units of study, settling into classroom routines, and growing strong, supportive communities with their teachers and classmates. It’s inspiring to see our Eagles putting down strong roots and beginning to rise as learners and leaders together.

A quick reminder: school will be closed on Friday and Monday for the Labor Day holiday. We hope students enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to welcoming them back on Tuesday, refreshed and ready to learn!

This week had so many fun moments! Mrs. Truba and two students were matching in their bright blue glasses. The Centreville High School marching band came to teach students about the different types of instruments they can learn to play! Mrs. Killingsworth is getting to know some our newest eagles!

One of the best things about Centreville is our commitment to being a green school. Students checked on some of our gardens where they found a lot of growing tomatoes!
