Happy Friday, Families!
We are off to an amazing start to the school year! The halls are filled with laughter, new friendships, and lots of learning already taking place. Our students have jumped right into routines, and the energy and excitement are contagious. Together, we are rooted in a strong community and rising toward all the growth, joy, and memories this year will bring.
What a fantastic beginning to our journey! Jen, Katy and Scott

Opt In/Opt Out for Early Release Wednesday Childcare
While we anticipate that most students will be dismissed at 1:00 pm on limited early release Wednesdays, we recognize that some families may require childcare. These students will be supervised. No new instruction will take place, as after-school care is strictly supervision.
Parents and caregivers should log in to the Parent Digital Consent system to review and provide consent to a variety of resources and services including Early Release Wednesday Childcare.
- OPT IN if you require childcare on our limited early release Wednesdays.
- OPT OUT if your child will go home (or to childcare arranged with SACC or another provider) at the early release time.
Families need to complete the opt in form by Monday, August 25, for after-school supervision for all early release Wednesdays. If a family needs to change their selection, they should notify our front office at least one week in advance to ensure enough staff are available to provide supervision.

Students across the school began setting goals for themselves this week by thinking about their hopes and dreams. We can't wait to see what all they achieve this year!
FAMILY SPOTLIGHT BOARD
If your child has had a great personal moment lately, email your teacher a photo and it will be displayed on the Family Spotlight bulletin board in the main hallway! Examples: family trips, holidays, cultural celebrations, a great soccer game, first lost tooth, a new puppy - all are welcome!
At CES, students have already dug into their first reading, math, science and social units!
