On behalf of the PTA, welcome to Louise Archer Elementary School (LAES)! For those who aren’t familiar, the Louise Archer Parent-Teacher Associations (PTA) promotes parental participation in school events and decision-making. Research shows that engaged parents foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for students. Enhanced parental involvement correlates with enhanced academic achievement, increased attendance, and decreased behavioral problems in students.
The LAES PTA supports students and teachers by providing financial aid for educational resources, field trips, cultural activities, and teacher grants. They also assist low-income families with school event fees and uplift faculty morale through various initiatives like monthly parties, teacher appreciation week, and classroom reimbursements...and much much more.
We'd love to have you join the PTA for the 25-26 school year! Memberships are valid for the PTA's fiscal year from July 1 to June 30. It's important to note that while membership is not mandatory to attend PTA events or meetings, your support greatly benefits our school and students.
** Membership Options Available: **
• Individual PTA Membership ($22)
o Membership for 1 parent or guardian and includes voting rights
• Family PTA Membership ($34)
o Membership for 2 parents/guardians and includes voting rights
• Family Cheerleader Membership ($300)
o Membership for 2 parents/guardians and includes voting rights
o Recognized on the back of the LA 5K T-shirt, unless stated otherwise
• Additionally, if you prefer to make a smaller donation, you can choose one of the first two options and add a general donation of your choice.

Lastly, we warmly invite you to join us following the Louise Archer Open House on Friday, August 15th, at 11:30 PM for a Food Truck Festival! The PTA has arranged for three local food trucks to be onsite offering lunch and treats for sale. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the PTA. A PTA representative will be present to answer any questions, address concerns, share ideas, or assist you in becoming a PTA member – everyone is welcome!
