Dear Washington Mill Families,
It’s been a few weeks since our last News You Choose update, and we hope this message finds you enjoying a restful and joyful summer. Whether you've been traveling, relaxing at home, or soaking up time with loved ones, we hope your summer has brought you plenty of smiles and special moments. Here at Washington Mill, we've been hard at work preparing for the exciting year ahead—and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back soon!
Washington Mill was proud to serve as the host site for the Mount Vernon Pyramid Summer School program, which wrapped up on Friday, July 25. We were grateful for the opportunity to support students across the pyramid and appreciate the hard work of all involved.
Next week, we look forward to welcoming our new teachers as they begin their journey with us. The following week, our entire staff will return as we prepare together for an exciting new school year.

Washington Mill Elementary School
Beat the heat and the crowds by purchasing your student's school supply kit today. You'll receive a full kit of the exact supplies your student needs plus you'll help the PTA earn cash and extra supplies for the school. Your purchase goes far beyond your own student's supplies as the more parents who purchase, the higher the percentage of rewards received by the school. Having uniform supplies delivered directly to your student's classroom also helps teachers get organized! Don't delay - order by July 31 to ensure the best pricing and delivery before the back to school orientation in August.

Kindergarten Play Date
Please join us for our Kindergarten Play Date on Friday, August 15th at 8:30 AM! We'll meet on the playground for a fun chance to connect before the Open House begins at 9:00 AM.
