SUPERVISOR PAT HERRITY represents the Springfield District on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and has over 40 years of active business, sports, and civic community leadership and experience. First as a business and community leader, and now as a Supervisor, he has actively led efforts to implement common sense solutions to our pressing problems including reducing the tax burden on residents, addressing the increasing crime rates and focusing education resources on teachers and into classrooms. He is a balancing, common sense voice on the Board and serves as Chair of the Board's Older Adults Committee and the Sports Tourism Task Force. He has been named the Best Public Servant in the Gazette Leader’s Best of the Best for the last 7 years. He is the only Supervisor to receive the President's Award from Fairfax County Federation of Teachers for his work supporting our teachers.https://www.patherrity.org
