We have just finished testing season, so let’s bring in some energy of celebration for all the hard work students and families have put in this year!

Using our hands and bodies to make sound can offer safe releases for BIG energies and activate our energies when we need to wake up to recharge! Following set rhythms and patterns can bring in focus and concentration to direct our energy.

Clapping is also a great way to clear the air or bring uplifting vibes to the space around you.

Parents of students in grades 1-5 are invited to our special Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 9th, from 9:45-10:45 am in the gym, where nominated students will be recognized for their achievements.

Reach out to the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB) for specialized youth mental health services designed to help your child succeed.
The CSB has individual and family counseling, psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, parenting groups, peer support, crisis response, recovery supports that include medication-assisted treatment (MAT), intensive services, and other options.

🛍️WES Thrift Shop - Wildcat's Nest
- The Wildcat’s Nest is a FREE thrift store for Woodlawn students and families.
- It is stocked with clothes, jackets, school supplies, books, and an abundance of other personal and household items.
- The Wildcat’s Nest is open to parents and guardians by appointment only, while supplies last.
- The Wildcat's Nest on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

📰Student Testing Results Coming Soon
Throughout May and June, you will receive your child’s spring assessment results. If you aren’t sure what assessments your child took this year, there is a list of tests by grade level on the FCPS website.
How the results are delivered depends on the test. Scores will be delivered in SIS ParentVUE or from the school or testing organization. Learn what to expect regarding assessment reporting practices and timelines.
Visit FCPS’ website for additional information about how test results are reported to families. Individual test websites provide report translations and help for interpreting test results. Please contact us with any testing questions or for additional information about how we use test results to support student success.
