From the Principal’s Pen
Dear Laurel Hill Families,
Summer is coming! As we look to close out another school year, the excitement for summer can be seen and heard throughout each classroom. There is a lot happening, so please review the information below carefully as to not miss any opportunities for summer camps, health care, end of the year assessment scores, and kindergarten registration. The last day of school is June 11, and it is a 2-hour early release. The PTA sponsored carnival will take place May 31, and we hope to see everyone there!

Parents Need To Know
From the Clinic
Please remember that all medication in the health room need to be picked up by the end of the school day on June 11th by a parent or guardian. Please call the health room at 703-551-5310 if you have any questions.

You may have noticed preliminary SOL scores in your ParentVUE account. Formal SOL score reports will begin posting to SIS ParentVUE Documents as we approach the end of the school year.

🧸 Kindergarten Registration: It’s as Easy as 1-2-3…
There’s an easy process for parents wanting to register their child for kindergarten:
- Determine eligibility-5 years old by Sept 30, 2025.
- Identify your local school.
- Gather documents.
- Fill out forms.
- Schedule an appointment (703-551-5300)

Online registration for the 2025-26 school year is open. Parents/caregivers may register their children online for kindergarten through 12th grade. Learn how to begin the online registration process.
