A Note from Dr. Goodloe:

Dear Chantilly Charger Community,

What a great week we've had at Chantilly! Two days of SOL testing schoolwide are completed and students did a great job engaging in learning activities and required assessments throughout the week and adapting to our testing schedule. We celebrated many of our seniors this week as we recognized the Class of 2025 athletes on women's lacrosse and soccer, and men's lacrosse teams. Congratulations to our Debate team for winning the VHSL State Championship hosted at JMU.  Sahana Kumar won the individual State Championship in Lincoln Douglas.  Rishi Guharoy placed 3rd in Policy Debate and the duo of Guharoy and Ved Patel placed 2nd in the state!  (see photo below)

Future of Chantilly Athletics - May 7, 6:30 PM.

This is a chance to connect, share your passion for Chantilly Athletics, and help us create an even brighter future for our student-athletes.

Come and hear all about the fantastic facilities upgrades on the horizon that will benefit all our Chantilly athletes. Plus, we'll shine a spotlight on the incredible work of our Athletic Boosters and how they provide vital support across all Chantilly sports. Finally, we'll share all the ways you can get involved and help us continue to build a thriving athletic community right here at Chantilly.

Your voice matters. We're eager to hear your thoughts and ideas as we look ahead to the future of Chantilly Athletics.

Share Feedback with County Health Department on School Health Services

The Fairfax County Health Department and Fairfax County Public Schools School Health Services invite parents/caregivers of FCPS students to participate in a survey on satisfaction with school health room services. The survey takes about five minutes to complete and will be open until Monday, May 5.

School health rooms (clinics) are managed by public health nurses and school health aides. Those staff provide care for students who become sick or injured during the school day, who require medications during the school day, and/or who have a chronic health condition that requires management during the school day.

Additionally, the school health room staff:

  • Provide health education, communicable disease prevention, and health screenings.
  • Work with schools to help address the root causes of population health disparities so that all students have equitable access to educational and health opportunities.
  • Ensure that students have care for minor injuries and illnesses, and chronic health conditions, thus helping to minimize health barriers to learning.

Survey results will provide a basis for quality improvement of school health room services as well as inform future planning for schools.
