Celebrations
Highlights
Edison Academy students had the pleasure of participating in the IET day at the NVCC Alexandria campus. We learned about the different pathways in their Information and Engineering Technology programs and toured the campus. For more information on upcoming open house dates and locations, visit https://www.nvcc.edu/admissions/visit/connect-in-person.htm

Edison academy cyber students were among over 450 students from 22 Virginia high schools at CyberSlam hosted by George Mason University. They attended workshops from outstanding presenters and interacted with various cyber organizations.

The Criminal Justice program took their final visit of the year to the FBI Headquarters for an incredibly informative tour. We learned about the various jobs, requirements, and the storied history. We were also able to watch agents take their quarterly qualification assessment on the firing range.

The Auto Collision students have almost finished the Grease car that is being used in the upcoming musical at Edison High School. This was completed in a very short time. Here is the before and after.

Veterinary Science students in the level two classes had a virtual visit from Dr. Amy Pike, Veterinary Behaviorist, co-owner of Animal Behavior Wellness Center. The students asked great questions and Dr. Pike provided a wealth of information.
