Spring Sports are underway and we NEED your help! In order for us to keep our concession stand up and running we need volunteers to assist us on game nights. The revenue generated through concession serves as the SCHS Athletic Booster Club's primary source of funding. The money earned goes right back to the sports teams to cover the costs of equipment, uniforms, and more! Any family can volunteer! In an effort to provide an optimal game day experience for our fans and guests, below is information on tickets, entry, and general guidelines. 

Tickets

• Adult tickets are $7; student tickets are $5. Children ages 5 and under as well as senior citizens 60+ will be admitted free. *Invitationals & Tournaments could charge up to $10 for adults.
• District & Regional tickets: adult tickets $10; student tickets $5.
• No re-entry.
• Purchase your tickets online to avoid the line @ South County HS E-Tix

Seating and Entry

• Gates will open 30 minutes before the start of the contest (60 minutes for Varsity Football).
• Middle School students will not be permitted entry without an adult. 
• Fans can enter through the main gate ONLY. 
• Parents are reminded that the stadium is an inviting place for children to play.  However, it can be very dangerous, so, please always supervise children.

Backpacks, Bags & Other Outside Items

• Purses, diaper bags, and reasonably sized bags are permitted inside the stadium with adults. However, all bags may be subject to search and inspection.
• Students are not permitted to bring bags or backpacks into the stadium.

Student Pick-Up

• Students MUST be picked up within 15 minutes of the end of the event.   

Beverage Policy

• No outside food or drinks are permitted inside the stadium.

Smoking & Tobacco Use

• Smoking and the use of all tobacco products on any Fairfax County Public School campus is prohibited. This prohibition applies to all individuals while on any FCPS campus, including faculty, staff, students, administrators, contractors, and visitors. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff, pipes, and chewing tobacco are not permitted.

To be eligible to tryout for High School Sports you must complete the following:

• Online Registration (click here)

The athlete AND one parent/guardian must review the online Concussion Education presentation, which is part of the online registration process mentioned above. This must be completed once per year.

• Current VHSL Physical Form (click here)

The VHSL form must say “Revised January 2021” in the top right corner of pages 1-4. No other versions of this document will be accepted. Please be sure that this form is completed in it’s entirety. Incomplete forms will be returned to families. Page 3 must be signed and dated (After May 1, 2024) by a physician.

All freshmen are academically eligible for sports in the fall and winter. High School students must pass no less than five credits the previous semester to remain eligible each season.

First Day of Tryouts

If you have a child, grand-child, niece or nephew participating in one or more of our SCHS athletic programs this year, please consider becoming a member of the Athletic Boosters and helping run our non-profit organization with fellow parent-volunteers.
