Mustang Memo 1.31.25

house

Note from Dr. Sheers

Our Mustang House is in full swing! Ask your child about their House handshake!

Volunteer with us! As we begin our House System in the cafeteria (and will soon expand to other areas), we need parents' help to positively recognize students who demonstrate cafeteria expectations and positive behavior, allowing them to earn House points. SIGN UP HERE to volunteer to help us recognize our students in the cafeteria.

A special thank you to the parents who volunteered this week!

Monday, February 10 - 3 Hour Early Release at 12:30 pm
Our next 3-Hour Early Release is approaching. We assume students are going home their normal route they have been for the past few early releases. If your childcare needs have changed, update your needs here by Wednesday, February 5.

SCA Souper Bowl
The WSES SCA is hosting the “Souper Bowl.” The “Souper Bowl” is an annual event where communities come together to tackle hunger locally. As millions of people tune it to watch the Super Bowl we are also tuning in to the needs of our neighbors. The “Souper Bowl of Caring” is about taking action to fight hunger, ensuring that no one has to go without food they need.  There will be 2 boxes by the front office (one for the AFC champion and one for the NFC Champion) and students will vote for which team he/she/they would like to win the Super Bowl by donating a non-perishable food item or canned good.  This event will run the week of the Super Bowl from February 3-February 7
