It’s Not Too Late to Sign Up for Terraset Ninja Night
We still have spots for more tigers to join the fun on Saturday at Life Champ Martial Arts of Reston for a Terraset Ninja Night. Drop-off begins at 5:30 and pick-up is at 10 pm (or earlier if needed!).
The cost is $40 per child if you register before Saturday, and the price goes up to $50 if you register and pay on Saturday. Pizza is included, and a portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Terraset PTO.
A registration form was sent home in Tuesday folders earlier this month–please fill it out and return it to Life Champ (not Terraset) or bring it with you on Saturday. If you need another form please email president@terrasetpto.org.
Not sure what to do while your student is having fun at Life Champ? Join other Terraset Grown Ups at Red’s Table for a chance to catch up with familiar friends and new faces you’ve seen around school or at our events.
Join Us on February 5 for the Next PTO Meeting
All are welcome at the first PTO meeting of 2025 on Wednesday, February 5 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Our guest speaker will be teacher Courtney Wiley who will discuss the new Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) program. Super Bowl themed refreshments and child care will be provided.
You’re invited to Terraset Movie Night!
Mark your calendar for Terraset (Indoor!) Movie Night on Saturday, February 8th at 7pm. We will be showing The Wild Robot. This is a FREE event for all Terraset families. We will have popcorn, treats, and drinks available for purchase. Please note that this is not a drop off event, and all students will need to be accompanied by a grown up.
Virtual Planning Meeting for the Basketball Challenge!
Volunteers are needed to help plan, organize and execute the big Basketball Challenge game at South Lakes HS on March 28, 2025. Whether you can serve on the planning committee, handle one specific pre-event task, or help on event day, we'd love to have your help. See below for an idea of ways to help. Most of the help is between now and game day, but if you only can help during the event let us know that as well!
Areas where help is needed:
- Shirts/spirit items
- Food /concessions
- Promotion
- Volunteer Coordination
- Raffle/donations
- Day of Help [such as selling tickets, concessions or spirit items]
We will hold an informational meeting on Monday, February 10th at 7pm via Zoom. You do not need to attend the meeting to sign-up, but you are welcome to attend. Email basketball@terrasetpto.org for additional information!
Art Show Volunteer Opportunity
Terraset has asked for 1 or 2 volunteers to help hang art for the Youth Art Month show at the Lake Anne Community Center. Set up for the show will be on Monday, March 3rd at 9:00AM. Please email vicepresident@terrasetpto.org if you're interested in helping out.

We will wish Aida Leis (1st grade team) 02/02, Edina Bazzacco (preschool) 02/03, Bettina Forman (School-based resource) 02/23 and Allison Bartoe (3rd grade team) 02/25 a very happy birthday with a treat from the PTO on behalf of Terraset families.

Todavia hay tiempo para inscribirse en la Noche Ninja de Terraset
Todavía tenemos lugares para que más tigres se unan a la diversión el sábado en Life Champ Martial Arts de Reston para una Noche Ninja de Terraset. La entrega comienza a las 5:30 y la recogida es a las 10 p. m. (¡o antes si es necesario!).

Anota en tu calendario la Noche de Cine en Terraset (¡en Interior!) el sábado 8 de febrero a las 7:00 p. m. Proyectaremos The Wild Robot. Este es un evento GRATUITO para todas las familias de Terraset. Tendremos palomitas de maíz, golosinas y bebidas disponibles para comprar. Ten en cuenta que este no es un evento en el que se dejan a los alumnos en casa y que todos los estudiantes deberán estar acompañados por un adulto.
Reunión virtual de planificación para el Desafío de Baloncesto.
Se necesitan voluntarios para ayudar a planificar, organizar y ejecutar el gran juego del Desafío de Baloncesto en South Lakes HS el 28 de marzo de 2025. Ya sea que pueda formar parte del comité de planificación, manejar una tarea específica previa al evento o ayudar el día del evento, nos encantaría contar con su ayuda. Vea a continuación una idea de las formas en que puede ayudar. La mayor parte de la ayuda es entre ahora y el día del juego, pero si solo puede ayudar durante el evento, ¡háganoslo saber también!

Oportunidad de voluntariado para la exposición de arte
Terraset ha solicitado 1 o 2 voluntarios para ayudar a colgar obras de arte para la exposición del Mes del Arte Juvenil en el Centro Comunitario de Lake Anne. La preparación para la exposición se realizará el lunes 3 de marzo a las 9:00 a. m. Envíe un correo electrónico a vicepresident@terrasetpto.org si está interesado en ayudar.
