Principal Message
Good afternoon Roadrunner families,
As a reminder, our roadrunners will still attend recess as the temperatures fall outside. Please assume your children will be outside for recess each day, even when it's chilly! FCPS policies limit outdoor activities when the windchill dips into negative temperatures, so your child will likely have outdoor recess most days. Your child must dress warmly with a coat, hat, and gloves or mittens. It is also a good idea to write their names inside each item, the extra gear is more easily misplaced.
If you or your family need assistance to ensure your child is dressed warmly this winter, please do not hesitate to email Ms. Muskett, our Family Liaison, at tmmuskett@fcps.edu or Ms. Romeo, the School Social Worker, at emromeo@fcps.edu for assistance. They can also be reached at 571-642-6000.

Attend a Boundary Review Community Meeting
Community meetings regarding FCPS’ comprehensive boundary review will take place in each of the division's six regions. You are encouraged to attend the meeting in our region, which will take place on [your region’s date and location (see above)].
Please register in advance by clicking on the date. Language interpretation will be available.

Full-Time AAP Referral DEADLINE
Parents/guardians who would like their student to be considered for full-time Advanced Academic services may submit the Full-Time Referral Form (translations linked below) to the Advanced Academic Resource Teacher (AART), Melissa Slye at moslye@fcps.edu no later than December 15, 2024. No late forms will be accepted.

 Bodhi Day, Sunday, December 8, is the Buddhist holiday that commemorates the day that the historical Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama (Shakyamuni), experienced enlightenment, also known as bodhi in Sanskrit and Pali.
