📅 Full-Time AAP Referrals Due December 15th 📅
The deadline for full-time AAP referrals is approaching! Please submit all required materials, including the referral form, optional parent questionnaire, and optional work samples (limit two single-sided pages), to Mrs. Subhi by December 15th, 2024. Referrals will not be accepted after this date. AAP forms are available on the FCPS AAP website. Contact Mrs. Subhi with any questions.
🍂 Join the VES PTA This Fall! 🍂
One of the best things about fall is the spirit of giving and community! Our PTA embodies this spirit every day, supporting our school in countless ways. We'd love for you to join us! This year's dues are $25 for individuals and $50 for families. If this amount presents a hardship, please don't hesitate to reach out to Beth Holzman via email or TalkingPts by 5pm on November 11th. We'll happily and confidentially add you to our membership roster. Let's work towards 100% PTA participation!

⌛ 3-hour early release ⌛
We've heard your feedback about streamlining communication for early release Mondays. We're working on a new tool to simplify dismissal changes and confirmations for the remaining five three-hour early release Mondays. We aim to have this tool available before the next early release on December 9th. This tool will let you confirm or update your child's dismissal plans, reducing the need for multiple messages.
As a reminder, these are the remaining 3-hour early-release Mondays for Vienna Elementary School:

This November, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month! It's a time to recognize the incredible contributions of Native Americans, and to appreciate their diverse cultures, traditions, and histories. Let's also take this opportunity to learn about the challenges they have faced and their strength in overcoming adversity.

The PTA's annual No Fuss Fall Fundraiser is still going strong!
Nothing to sell, nothing to buy – we just need you to help us reach our goal by donating and encouraging others to as well! Join the PTA, make a donation, and please share with grandparents, neighbors, co-workers and friends! Our goal is to raise $10,000 in donations by November 15th, all of which goes directly to support students, teachers, staff, and programs at VES. ⭐The class with the highest percentage of PTA memberships will receive a (parent donated) Amazon gift card to supplement the class wishlist. 🌟 If the $10k goal is met, ALL K-6 classes will receive additional recess time! Remember, we are a 501(c)(3) organization, so all donations are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.
