Principal's Message
After months of planning and collaboration with the PTA, it was wonderful to see our Lego wall installed last Friday, thanks to the planning and coordination from Mrs. Sick and our PTA. Thank you so very much for your donations and support of this project to benefit our students. We will soon be rolling out our new cart of Legos to support our students and provide opportunities for exploration and creativity. You will find the Lego wall off the central pod and cafeteria hallway.
Our 5th grade students took part in a five phase project, "The Big Dig," involving research, collaboration, individual planning, design and discovery. The activity concluded on our playground where students buried their artifact for another peer to unearth. Parent volunteers then questioned to help them reflect on their newly found artifact. Our students showed creativity and a deep understanding while enjoying this learning experience. |

Moments of joy exist all around our building daily, however, this one touched me as we kicked off this week. The beautiful fall weather allowed some of our first graders to enjoy simple moments with friends as they jumped in the leaves and rolled on the hill with laughter.
Remember Chipmunks, Every day is a chance to Grow and I love watching this in action daily!
Sincerely,
Stacy Kirkpatrick, Principal
