This week, we had our first Early Release (ER) Monday. Our teachers worked on learning more about the Virginia Literacy Act (VLA). Our first edition of Popcorn and Page Turners takes a quick look at the VLA which guarantees evidence-based literacy instruction aligned to science-based reading research in all classrooms.
