September 19 - News and Notes!
Rolling Valley Families,
Thank you to all the families who attended Back to School Night! It was wonderful to see our building filled with families connecting with teachers and exploring where and what your children are learning. If you were unable to join us, don’t worry—there are more opportunities to engage with Rolling Valley and the curriculum. Mark your calendars for Curriculum Night on October 10 and two Instructional Insight meetings focused on Reading and Math that we are holding in October (Reading) and November (Math). What's happening in our classrooms!
Math in action!
At RVES, our students are diving deeper into math through engaging, hands-on activities designed to encourage exploration and active learning. These experiences are further enhanced by opportunities for students to engage in meaningful discourse with their peers. By working together to solve problems and discuss strategies, our students are developing a stronger understanding of key math concepts and building their critical thinking skills. We are excited to see their enthusiasm grow as they take ownership of their learning in collaborative ways!

West Springfield High School’s SGA homecoming committee invites all staff, students and parents, and the community, to our annual homecoming parade. This particular event features a variety of floats, performances, and our wonderful students that make up our school. We believe that it would be a great opportunity to have your students experience this exciting school spirit. This is a special event for our school and community, and we would be honored if you were a part of the celebration.
