Bull Run Elementary School is excited to welcome Leslie Rozzoni as the new Assistant Principal, beginning on October 7, 2024. Leslie brings 24 years of experience in education and has served in a variety of leadership roles in both central office and school settings. She has worked as an Educational Specialist in the Office of School Support, where she led school turnaround efforts, as well as in the Office of Professional Learning and Family Engagement, facilitating systemwide professional development. Most recently, she has been serving as an Assistant Principal at Poe Middle School, where she has supervised the mathematics and ESOL departments. Throughout her career, Leslie has been passionate about fostering a collaborative and inclusive school environment where every student and family feels valued, welcomed, and supported. She believes in the power of high expectations, whole-child development, and lifelong learning to shape the future of students. She is eager to join the Bull Run community and work together with Mr. Marotta and Mrs. Campbell to build a strong foundation for student growth and achievement, ensuring that all students are empowered to reach their full potential.
On a personal note, Leslie resides in Aldie, VA, with her husband, Tony (who teaches Health and PE at Centerville High School), their two children; Gabby (15) and Anthony (13), and their six-year-old Boston terrier, Gigi. In her free time, Leslie enjoys cheering on Gabby and Anthony at their baseball tournaments and cheerleading competitions, participating in philanthropy events, as well as planning themed parties for friends and family. She is looking forward to meeting everyone and becoming a part of the wonderful Bull Run community!
