Dear Charger families,
We have had a great week at Chantilly and our students and staff are CHARGED and ready to kick off our first home football game this evening. We celebrated two outstanding weeks of school with our first Pep Rally this afternoon during homeroom. Charger spirit is high as we anticipate a great night of cheering on our football, cheer, and dance teams, and seeing our Mighty Marching Chargers perform! WE hope to see many of our families at the game. Join in our game theme by wearing Red, White and Blue for our USA-out in honor of Labor Day! Please read our Chantilly game expectations below.

Chantilly Cell Phone Policy
Our Chargers are doing a great job following expectations and adhering to the phone policy. Keeping cell phones off during the school day helps students focus and learn. It also boosts positive social behavior. Please review FCPS’ cell phone expectations by grade level and the consequences that will go into effect beginning September 3 (below), with your child and help keep our classrooms free of distractions! If you need to reach your child during the school day, please call our main office, 703-222-8100.
Attendance Matters
Parents and caregivers can submit full day absences through ParentVUE! This will replace the google attendance link used in the past. Please visit our website for more information on attendance procedures.
*Partial Absences: To report late arrivals, early dismissals, or to update already submitted attendance, please contact the appropriate sub-school directly. Contact information is listed below.
Sign Up for SIS ParentVUE
Access your student’s attendance records, grades, and assignments at any time with SIS ParentVUE. Parents/caregivers should receive an activation code when they register their child. Submit a Parent Support Request if you need an activation code.
Once you have activated a SIS ParentVUE account, you will keep the same account until the student graduates. You can quickly access SIS ParentVUE using an app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android devices. This year you can even report an absence in ParentVue.
SIS ParentVue - Student Progress Report Opt In: Families are encouraged to set their preferences for receiving their student's progress updates on a regular basis. We encourage all families to sign up and stay up to date on student progress, grades, and assignments.
Would you like to learn more about navigating ParentVue account?

No-Cost Virtual Therapy for High School Students

Virtual therapy sessions are available to FCPS high school students at no cost to provide them with a safe space to address concerns such as:
- Mood/behavior changes, motivation, grief/loss
- Anxiety, worry, fears
- Social skills, bullying, peer and family relationships
- Academic stress
You may refer your child by calling 571-749-2940 or by contacting our school counselor, social worker, psychologist, or director of Student Services.
