Dear White Oaks Families,

It is with mixed emotions that I share that Tanya Siwik has decided to return to the classroom and has accepted a special education position at another FCPS school.  Returning to the classroom has been a dream of hers and she has decided to make that dream a reality.  I want to thank Tanya for her service to WOES and helping us grow in many ways.  We will miss you and wish you the best in your new position.

Dear White Oaks Families,

It has been my great pleasure to serve as one of the assistant principals to the White Oaks Elementary School community the last two years. My time at White Oaks has been amazing. I am so proud of all the work students, teachers, and families do every day to make the White Oaks community fantastic.

As many of you know, my heart is in the classroom and I have shared openly that, “I cannot wait to go back to the classroom when I retire from FCPS.” An opportunity came up for me to teach special education in my neighborhood school and I decided to move back into a teaching role next year.

My gratitude goes out to all the White Oaks families. I enjoyed working with and supporting this wonderful community.
