Note from Dr. Sheers

Today, we celebrated the incredible volunteers who support our school, staff, and children. Thank you all!

A special appreciation goes out to our PTA Board, especially Marcella Talcott, Megan Way, Elizabeth Primm, and KP Murphy. Your boundless energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to supporting our school and the PTA are truly valued. Thanks to your efforts, the PTA has had an exceptionally successful year, strengthening our sense of community through various events like Bingo Night, Ice Cream Social, Blue and White Night, and more!

The generosity of our families in providing financial support to the PTA has enabled us to purchase updated furniture for our school library and add an extra water bottle refilling station!

We are grateful to everyone who has taken on key PTA leadership roles and sincerely appreciate our many day-to-day volunteers and chaperones.

Sensory Garden Plant Sign Up
Our 6th grade students have been working on creating a sensory garden in the unused courtyard opposite of the 1st grade classrooms. They've designed a model using various software and have grown herbs in three hydroponic gardens, ready for transplant. They've also prepared a list of mostly native perennials to plant. We're now ready to start planting and need help from the WSES community. While we've received a grant for garden beds and soil, we need to provide our own plants. Please see the Sign-up Genius link below to contribute to our Sensory Garden. Sensory Garden Plant Sign-Up
