Outdoor Track Qualifies 3 to State Meet!

Congratulations to Occoquan Regional Shot Put Champion, Fatima Amaya Diaz! In addition, Fatima broke a 34 year old school record in the discus. She has qualified for both events at this weeks VA State Meet in Newport News. Fatima will be joined by two other state qualifiers from Justice, Mosa Shamat and Mica Karotkin. Let's Go Wolves!!

Athletic Booster Information

CALL FOR CANDIDATE

Please consider the following...

  • Only some of the expenses required to run a high school athletic program are provided by the school system, so these athletic programs depend heavily on booster organizations to raise funds for their remaining needs.  The many volunteers of the Justice Athletic Boosters work throughout the year to raise much-needed funds.  We aim to donate at least $20,000 per year to the Justice Athletic Program, so that Mr. Garvey and his staff can direct the funds to address the greatest needs of individual teams and the program overall. 
  • On Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30pm, the Boosters will hold its final meeting of the year.  The meeting link will be on the Boosters webpage, and on the Activities Office Link Tree.  We need to elect the 4 officers who will lead the organization next year.  Those officers will work with many volunteers so that the goals of the organization can be met without over-burdening anyone.  Here's the good news:
  • Good news!  We have nominees for next year's President, Secretary and Treasurer.  We still need one person (or the position can be shared by two people) to be nominated for Vice President.  The VP works with the other 3 Executive Officers to lead the organization in its vital fundraising efforts throughout the year.  In addition to the officer positions, volunteers can serve as leads for targeted roles (such as membership, concessions SignUpGenius, Fall Service Festival, concessions inventory, etc.) to help assure that our fundraising goals are met or surpassed!  

     

    Help us support the entire Justice athletic program by volunteering to serve as next year's Boosters Vice President.  Or let me know if there's some other way you would like to take a lead role.  president@justicesportsboosters.org

     

We hope you will join the Justice community in celebrating Justice athletes at this year's Varsity Sports Awards on Wednesday, May 29 at 7pm, in the Auditorium.  Athletes who have committed to playing their sport in college will be recognized at 6:30pm.

Sports Physical - Offered at Justice HS

Registration is now open for Sports Physicals at Justice High School on June 4. Registration is $50 when you make an appointment in advance. All proceeds benefit the athletic training program.

We would appreciate it if you could spread the word via your channels – social media, email lists, etc.

Are you graduating Senior who attended Belvedere Elementary?

Belvedere ES is hosting a grad walk for Class of 2024 seniors at 2pm on June 4th. Graduates who attended Belvedere Elementary School are invited to wear their cap and gown, and walk the halls of their elementary school. It’s inspirational for the grads, and even more so for the ES students. We also know Belvedere’s teachers and staff enjoy seeing how much their former students have achieved.

Grads can meet in front of the school at 1:45pm. 

We are hoping you can share this information with your seniors, as we know former Bulldogs attend several area high schools.

Online Streaming now requires a paid subscription

Please note that for the last year and a half, Fairfax County Public Schools paid for a countywide subscription for all schools and their communities. Unfortunately, FCPS will no longer be paying these fee. All of our events that take place on our stadium field and in our gymnasium will continue to be streamed live on the NFHS Network, but will now have a pay wall that the consumer will need to pay for.
