VHSL SPORTS PHYSICALS OFFERED ON SITE @ JUSTICE

Registration is now open for Sports Physicals at Justice High School on June 4th . Registration is $50 when you make an appointment in advance. All proceeds benefit the athletic training program.

Executive Board Leadership 2024-25

  • At our Tuesday, May 7, 6:30pm meeting (VIRTUAL LINK), we will announce the slate of nominees to fill the Executive Board (4 officer positions) for 2024-25.  We will vote on the slate at our meeting in June.  
  • We have experienced volunteers ready to continue serving as Treasurer and Secretary.  This means that our financial house, and our technology (management of our Google workspace, and electronic purchasing system/card terminals for concessions), will be in very good hands next year.  
  • We still need nominees for President and Vice President.  Our Bylaws allow for an Executive Board position to be fulfilled by up to two members (the two Board members splitting the position will share the one vote for that position).  

What do the President and Vice President positions entail?  

  • The intention of both positions is to oversee and support the administration and initiatives of the organization, NOT DO IT ALL. 
  • We want our leaders to be enthusiastic, not overwhelmed.  
  • Concessions is a major part of what we do to raise funds for the athletic program, but concessions will NOT take over your life.    Some officers have spent more time working at concessions in the past because they had the time and inclination to do so, but it's not a requirement.  The key is harnessing all the willing volunteers into a team that gets concessions done without anyone being overburdened.  We also have some wonderful, hard-working students who make great concessions volunteers (special thanks this year to Coach Monica White's athletic leadership class, and various athletic teams as well).    
  • The President and Vice-President can support other parents willing to take on specific or time-limited tasks.  For example, we have an experienced volunteer committed to overseeing concessions for next year's Winter Season.
