RVES Family Newsletter April 19

April 19 - Family Newsletter

Rolling Valley Families,

It has been an eventful week at Rolling Valley Elementary School, with our students engaging in a variety of activities and experiences! This week, we celebrated our Military-Connected Students with a fun Spirit Week. It was heartwarming to see so many students coming together to celebrate their shared experiences. The sense of community and support was truly inspiring. On April 17, we hosted a fantastic military-connected presentation for our students. It was a great opportunity for them to learn, connect, and gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of one another.

Field trips! This week our fourth-grade students went on an exciting field trip to the Richmond Science Museum. The feedback from staff and students was this was an amazing hands-on experience with many opportunities for movement throughout the field trip. Also this week, some of our sixth-grade students had the opportunity to go to Key Middle School for a field trip and be part of their school day. Today many of our students also attended the Little Feet Field Trip, where they had a blast participating in various activities. The pictures captured from the event truly encapsulated the joy and excitement shared by all.

As we look forward to the upcoming week, we invite you to join us for RVES International Night on Thursday, April 25. It’s set to be a celebration of diversity and cultural exchange within our school community. Additionally, don't forget to check below for information on ordering the RVES 23-24 Yearbook.

Have a great weekend!
