Arts Night

We would like to invite you to our first annual Mason Crest Arts Night on Thursday, March 21st from 5:30‑7:00 p.m. Come see your child’s art work and poetry decorating the hallways. Experience musical performances by our Kindergarten and 1st grade students. Create art work and poetry with your children. Hear instrument demonstrations by our 4th and 5th graders and meet some of the music teachers from Poe Middle School. We hope you can join us to celebrate the arts!

Spring Picture Day

Spring Pictures will be taken this Friday, March 22. Students will be taking individual and class photos. Photos may be preordered or you may order after seeing the proofs. A link was sent to parent emails and paper order forms were sent home in Wednesday folders. Additional forms are also available in the office. If you have any questions, feel free to call the office at 571-226-2600.

Kindergarten Orientation

Our Kindergarten Orientation will be on the morning of April 2 from 8:45 p.m.- 11:00 a.m. Incoming kindergarten students and families will get to experience "A Day in the Life of a Kindergartener" while receiving a tour of Mason Crest. We can't wait to meet our incoming kindergarteners and our newest Mason Crest families.

Immunization Clinics

To help parents/caregivers obtain vaccinations for their children, the Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) will offer immunization clinics with extended hours:

• Thursday, March 21, 4:30-7:30 p.m., Joseph Willard Health Center.Walk-ins are accepted until 7 p.m.
• Friday, March 22, 1-5:30 p.m., Annandale District Office. Walk-ins are accepted until 5 p.m.

Parents/caregivers should make an appointment but a limited number of walk-ins will be accepted. Please call 703-246-7100 to schedule an appointment.
