March 15, 2024

Hello Justice HS Students, Families, and Community Members:

This has been a fun-filled and jam-packed week!  We are five school days out from our highly anticipated Spring Break and End of 3rd Quarter.

I am excited to share with you that Justice High School is a school designated to receive Federal Title I Grant Funds starting in the 2024-2025 school year.  Title I represents an exciting opportunity to further support the success of all our students.

Title I funding allows us to allocate additional resources to directly impact student achievement. These resources can be used in a variety of ways, including:

  • Implementing innovative educational programs that are geared toward students’ needs to ensure all students reach high expectations.
  • Building strong partnerships with families through developing a family and school engagement policy and compact, including families in the planning of school and family partnership opportunities, and offering a variety of family meetings and experiences.
  • Expanding intervention and enrichment programs.
  • Providing supplemental professional learning experiences for teachers and administrators.
  • Supplying additional high quality instructional materials that will enhance student learning experiences.
  • Additional staffing to support interventions, enrichment, and specific areas of opportunity for the school.

We believe that a strong school community is essential for student success. Leveraging our existing strengths, Title I funding allows us the opportunity to further enrich and enhance a supportive learning environment for all our students.

We will be holding an in-person Title I information session on Thursday, April 11th at 6:00 PM

Have a safe and Happy St. Patrick’s Day Weekend!

Tiffany I. Narcisse, Principal

Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow!

This year, spring break is March 25-29. We will be eager to welcome your children back to school on Wednesday, April 3, after two teacher work days. Student attendance is very important. Every day, our teachers will be teaching, and students will be learning. Studies have shown that just two absences per month can cause students to fall behind. Let’s finish this school year strong. Visit FCPS’ website for attendance resources.

All-Virginia Band Awards

Justice High School is proud to announce that we have two students who made All-VA State Band. Congratulations to Diego Cruz-Coca and Sabrina Ehmann-Jones for earning a spot in the All-VA Band! Sabrina and Diego competed against students from all over the state for a seat in the ensemble and making the group is an honor. These students are to be commended for their hard work and dedication to music.
